I have a site -

I recently moved to a new server. Almost immediately, it dropped out of the yahoo listings when it was top ten for a long time. That didnt worry me, I figured the rankings would come back.

I happened to check to see what yahoo had indexed and the results were strange.

The URLS have strange extensions --

<url>.com/?c=NTU=
<url>.com/?c=Mg==
<url>.com/?c=Mzk=
<url>.com/?c=Mg==

the?c=Mzk= part doesnt make sense. No pages have that, or the other extensions - Once more - there are 5 listings and all have different extensions, and all point to my homepage. 4 of them just have these wierd extensions.

Google doesnt show any of these extensions - Nor does MSN

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Take a close look at the entire yahoo link. This may be part of an outgoing link counting campaign. Are they counting outgoing clicks to determine site popularity?

Google has quite a few URL's listed with those in the URL's as well for various sites.
So somewhere there must be links with those in it, possibly a directory site of some sort with slightly malformed URL's getting spidered.
