Similar words on Yahoo

How does Yahoo Handle Them?

I have a site: www.keyword-forum.com (keyword is another word then keyword)

I want to optimize the site for both:
keyword forum
and
keyword forums

I've heard that google handles simular words like this which means that I only have to optimize for one of the words to optimize both of them. But does MSN and Yahoo do this too, because it don't look like that in the SERPs.

Here's my rankings:

keyword forum:
MSN: #1
Yahoo: #12
Google: #193

keyword forums:
MSN: #53
Yahoo: n/a
Google: #194

In my experience Y looks at plural as a different word. You have to optimise for keyword and keywords.
