Does anyone know the average time it takes for more than the homepage to appear in the Yahoo! SERPS?
I'm watching 2 of my sites at the moment, launched about 3 months apart. The oldest site ranks well in Google and MSN but is still homepage only in Yahoo!
The other only ranks well in MSN and is also homepage only.

Just interested in how long others took to see results?

Looks like Yahoo! doesn't like me much then. I'll just keep sitting here watching and hope that I appear...

Thanks

Does getting listed in Y. directory helps with Y indexing the whole site? Its been over 2 month now and only a home page is indexed. MSN and Google are OK. I even got some deep links from decent sites that rank well in Y. Nothing helps. Is this how Yahoo hints that $299 is what it gets to be indexed nowadays?

From another post I read it sounds like you might want to get a relevant link from a site that Slurp already likes to crawl. This might speed a deep crawl of your site. Let us know if it does.

Thanks for the "linkdomain:" command... I never knew about that. I found 748 to my site...I had no idea there were that many!

I can'tcomment if that helps get your site indexed, but I know it has brought traffic to my business site. I got listed in their paid directory about a year ago in hopes of getting more traffic, and it worked. I see people coming directly to my site from the index. Just my $.02 worth...

I closely monitor traffic to my other e-com. site listed in Y. directory. No traffic at all from the directory. The only time i ever had some was when i just got listed there about a year ago and they showed my listing in the newly added section for couple of weeks. I had about 20 visitors from them...
