Optimized for Google but not for Yahoo

Why Google and Yahoo results are so different

I have several sites optimized on the top postions in google. The same pages are listed in Yahoo but not optimized. For example one f them appears on the 120 position.

I have read yahoo and google tips and they are very similar: backlinks, title, keyword density, metas on yahoo, etc.

Why the results are so different? What am I doing wrong? and... what do you recommend me to improve my yahoo position?

Thank you.

The same factors but in another order
title, prominance, anchor, keyword density, description

And this is for not too copmetitive keywords. for really competitive ones you need lots of links and directory listing

Hi,

May I ask: when you say "anchors" you mean the anchor links within the webpage or the anchor text that is over general links? My problem is that I change those anchor names for the links to my pages from page to page (just adapting for keyword content of the current page, underline link remains the same) and I suspect that Google doesn't like it. Either way: my standings at Yahoo are great, at Google very poor - can't figure why. Could be the anchor thing?

I was #1 in Yahoo for " Brand Name" + product #, " Brand name", etc... for a while..at that time was nowhere to be found in G...

Now , I'm top 5 in G for " Brand Name" + Product#/description in G...and only found in Yahoo under " Brand Name" (#10)...

I changed my dynamic pages to display the page title as the product description....I think that killed my Y rankings....

Am doing very well on MSN....
