Hello,

My site appears twice in the Yahoo listing whenever I do site:www.mydomain.com. The first listing is [mydomain.com...] and the second one [mydomain.com...] (with query string parameters). Does Yahoo consider this as duplicate content and should I do a permanent 301 redirect via PHP to [mydomain.com...] when the bot visits [mydomain.com...]

Regards.

I saw that inktomisearch search came by in my logs and so I go to check my site on yahoo and this is what I get,

[example.com...]

as the top listing with

[example.com...]

below it.

[example.com...] page doesn't exist so it just returns an error page.

What in the world is that all about?

Just did a search on WW and in a post from Feb 2004 a guy asked the same question but no answer was ever posted. Thats all I can find, anybody know whats going on?

I see this in my logs almost daily as Y! requests
/thisdir/?A=D
/thisdir/?F=G
/thisdir/?B=C
and gets a 200 every time. I've felt that it's concocting these for who knows what.

I posted in the apache forums and got a reason,

[webmasterworld.com...]

but still don't know what to do about it.

Wonder if there's any chance of dup content with this?
