Why sites are being dropped from Yahoo

I have about 50 sites I use for testing and the ones that are cross-linked just got dropped yesterday. All pages except for the homepage. The ones that are not cross-linked continue to receive normal referrals from Yahoo. Also there are a few that are linked from the same source (like in the footer of another site) and those are receiving half the traffic of their normal levels. I've read about some others having reinclusion success by correcting the linking and emailing Yahoo...any of you get the sites back to 100%?

What about 5 sites that are linked together only from the index page, have you tried that, because my situation is that only the index page is listed and the site is as clean as it gets.

probably...I have a site that contains links to five others and has the same problem. Of course the other sites are linked to each other which is about the worst thing you can do in order to get your site banned.

I just dont see the logic in why a site should be banned if it links to 5 other sites and they link back, the link is just on the index/frontpage page. I could understand if it was from maybe 30 and up like the spammers does.

maybe they can look under the hood in some respect and check out ip and/or whois info to see if there really is a network being made or if it just innocent recip linking.

esllou - They do that, but I just think it is a lttle silly to do that if the amount of sites is only 5 and they are just linked together from the index page, IF that is the reason for the only index page situation.
