How Does One Keep their Website from Jumping Around in the Serps?

Yahoo, I love you but your making me dizzy! For weeks I been going from being #15 on a very popular keyword to a #6, than back to a #12, than a #10 than a #11 Than a #7 now I am a #11.
Please someone tell me how I can stay on page one?

It's the yahoo index that is doing the shuffle...from one index to another. I'm not sure the reasoning behind it, but I can tell by looking at the cached page that sometimes it shows a very old page and sometimes it shows the new page. It just so happens that when it has a recent page, my rankings are much better. This is probably what is happening to you.
