One Possible Reason for little traffic from Yahoo

I have a site that gets a tremendous ammount of traffic from Google. My Yahoo traffic is 10% of Google traffic.

I noticed that a change was made to my CMS and it was no longer displaying meta data.

Could no meta data have that big of an impact on my traffic from Yahoo?

Not publishing meta data is not helping you. But if you want to rank better in Yahoo, you should first look at your links (quantity, quality, anchor text and proximity). Also realize that changing your links can have a impact on your Google traffic.
