It has been anncounced quite a while ago (Yahoo & Adobe Announce Partnership - put Web search features into Adobe's Acrobat Reader software. [webmasterworld.com])

Yesterday i saw it at a friend's compu: Acrobat Reader 7 with the Yahoo Toolbar included. My friend couldn't tell me if he had the choice to install it or not. And i can't try it myself 'cause i'm on a mac. What's funny: he programmed a business application that uses Acrobat to display and store letters etc. A plug-in embeds Acrobat Reader in the application forms. So know it's possible to search the web from within his application using Acrobat's Yahoo Bar. ;)

That's a massive movement for yahoo, no!? But then, how many people search the web from within Acrobat? How new ist this?

It seems like a good partnership and it'll be intersting to see how it turns out, if this helps bring more traffic through Yahoo search.
