Yahoo Backlinks checker working?

It is not showing all the links...

I've been using yahoo to track backlinks for a while. As of yesterday, the tool is showing 30% or less of the links they used to show. Even Google is now showing more links.

Is everyone else seeing this? If so, is this a temp blurp? A reduction in scope of this tool? A sign of upcoming algo changes?

(And any recommendations on valid backlink checkers?)

No, I mean :
link:http://www.sitename.com/page.html

Now it works fine again. Was only out for 3 or 4 days.

Weird.

Note: With Y!, you must use the full http:// syntax:

link:http://www.domain.com/page.html

Now...

The link command seems to break occasionally. It's completely random - for example, on Monday night, it was showing 34 backlinks to Google's homepage. It's since been restored.

It seems like it's breaking occasionally for tweaks they're doing to their index, but I haven't nailed down a pattern yet. I don't think they're breaking it maliciously like Google is.

Thanks to bakedjake, I can check links in Yahoo! again.

All in all it's a quick way to monitor status from week to week.

Get used to printing out a report from week to week or month to month and you'll have a metric to work with.

Thanks.

I guess I am just getting a bit paranoid about the actions of SEs. Hope, regarding this tool, it just remains paranoia.
