I launched a new site about 6 months ago and up until now have had pretty ordinary success with the search engines. Now, all of a sudden my site is ranked top 10 for a whole stack of REALLY REALLY competitive key words. But, this is only on the yahoo.com.au page when selecting 'the whole web' (ie, not just Australia). When I go to the normal yahoo.com my site is in kind of top 30-40. Isn't the 'web search' from yahoo.com.au the same as the normal search from yahoo.com?
Separately, Yahoo seems to love my site, having indexed 1200+ pages this month alone. But Google, hates my guts, having done just 30 pages, and booted most of my site to the 'supplmental' index. MSN seems to like my site, placing me in top 30 for most keywords, in a VERY competitive industry.
Do you think it is worth tailoring my site to improve the google, or leave it alone and enjoy the Yahoo rankings.
