66.196.101.85 must be really pumped today.

It has not requested robots.txt this access_log file session week. Then again, maybe it only does that request periodically.

Fourteen files in two seconds seems rather hungry.

It's been doing this to us for nearly a week now from a myriad of IPs!

Slurp has gone berserk on us. 125K pages hit today...each successive day has been heavier than the last. I've never seen anything like it from Y!.

Something big in the works?

Can your be sure this is actually Yahoo and not a spoofer? - Larry

thanks for the suggestion - yes the IPs are legit. and yes the Slurp attack is continuing for us.

It's a little frustrating as the site:www.mysite.com on Y is yielding X pages, yet slurp is gobbling 3X pages per day.

Hopefully something good will come out of this besides my bandwidth spike (which isn't that good).
