Pet Peeve: yahoo page redirect forces new tab

I'd have done much more intensive use and testing of search.yahoo.com if moving from page 1 of serps to page 2 etc did not always have this link on the 'next' link:

[rds.yahoo.com...]

which processes something, then redirects back to search.yahoo.com for the next page. The result of this is for long searches, going through many pages of serps, I have either have to force the next link to open in same tab manually, or I have to suffer through endlessy opening new tabs.

This should be fixed, yahoo is looking better, but this annoyance is still present. Obviously won't affect IE users, since that's still back in the stone ages, but it does affect modern new browsers.

Anyway, if any yahoo types are reading this, give it a thought, isn't there another way you can extract the data you need from the search?

Since I block all search engine cookies to maintain the objectivity of my searches, ie I don't want customized results, I need to see what it looks like to generic users, setting returned serps to > 10 is not an option.
