Is it OK to Run a Bot Through Yahoo Finance to DataMine it?

Are there alternate ways of doing this?

This might not be in the right place but I am writing a data mining bot to query yahoo finance every day. It will be doing about 2000 page requests and returning about 4 kb worth of information. Will I get banned for doing this? and, if i do is there a work around with yahoo to allow me to continue my research? any suggestions?

I don't know the definite answer to this but I would be very suprised if they didn't ban your bot's IP shortly after you started crawling.
