I was going through the source code of my homepage and noticed an extra URL still in there. Basically I had deleted the text from the page (and presumed the hyperlink as well) but it left the hyperlink still in the source code. Would that have likely recieved a penalty as a hidden text type of thing even though there is no hidden text as such? ( I have now removed it today since I noticed it)

"Bumpity bump.". Martinibuster noticed that your thread hadn't been addressed yet, so he "bumped" it back up to the top of the pile.

IMHO, you'r probably OK, if it was just in one or two places.

thanks for your replies, the reason being my site seems to have gone from yahoo and now google so wondered if that could have caused it. I have now removed the excess URLs since I noticed them
