Yahoo up/down?

No ability to login, missing items, etc.

I was in a meeting this morning and got a phone call telling me that Yahoo has gone completely haywire.

Some of the most active items in areas of their site have vanished completely and user ID's are no longer working. People can' log in and can;t access any of the information they were expecting to find.

I just got back and I don't see anything on the wire services and don't see anything via e-mail.

Their main site looks normal, as if they were not experiencing a catastrophic system failure but that can't be the case. I have never seen it this bad.

Does anyone know what is wrong over there and how soon it will be fixed?

Also, does anyone know why there is a press blackout on it?
