Yahoo SERPS no longer the same as MSN. Yahoo has made some major changes in their SERPS. Has anyone else noticed?

I believe it is Microsoft that is doing more changing than Yahoo. Yahoo supplies Microsoft its results, so if Yahoo were changing, then Microsoft would be reflecting the same changes. The new Microsoft search engine should be up and running by the end of this month per online rumors and press releases.

It is clear that Yahoo has made some changes to SERPs. Anyway I still find Yahoo and msn results identical.

yup we are seeing some changes in the Y serps as well.
MSN takes a little while to sync. with Y so if you are seeing some differences in the serps, give it a bit and they should be the same. (or close)

This is just what I am seeing, but MSN search appears to be Yahoo with the PFI sites removed.
MSN search is comming and is quiet possibly part way here.
Y! is making some big changes at the moment - my 2 cents is that they are panic changes

Any fluctuations you are seeing at MSN do not have anything to do with the new search engine they are working on. The release scheduled for tomorrow is simply a beta release. Yahoo is still powering MSN's search.

Hi,
i'm not so sure,
i'm seeing one of my sites that incurred the yahoo chop, but was doing well in Msn beta now showing on MSN results, maybe they are migrating results across slowly or maybe yahoo likes my site again, but it hasn't appeared on Y yet, hope its the latter.

Hi,
Thats real strange only today was i able to find the site that i noticed was on msn on the 11th. Why would i be able to see it on msn.co using the site: and not Y first.
a full five day delay.

It looks like the serps are changed back to 1-2 weeks ago ranking.

MSN stopped using the PFI results on July 1, 04 and depending on the number of PFI results in a search query the results can look significantly different between Y! and MSN.

I've seen my Yahoo traffic halve suddenly and my MSN traffic double. I think MSN is slowly mixing in results from its own engine. Why yahoo traffic has dropped is beyond me.
