Yahoo doesn't like me

Why won't Yahoo index more of my pages?

In the last 12 months, Google has done a superb job of crawling and indexing nearly 17,000 out of 20,000 of my site's pages. On the other hand, Yahoo indexed approx. 500 up front and hasn't indexed anymore. I've paid $300 to be included in the Yahoo directory. I've used Site Match with practically no results. I've managed pay-per-click campaigns via Overture with very few clicks and fewer sales. I'm at a loss on how to improve the number of pages that Yahoo organically indexes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was just about to write the same post.

At Google I have over 12,000 pages indexed and I get a lot of traffic from them.

At Yahoo, where I have been paying to stay in their directory and to be a sponsor since 1999, I have 225 pages indexed. I'm feeling a bit screwed right now.

I wonder if Yahoo just does not have the computing horse power that Google has.

Many of my pages have to do with "jobs," so I wonder if Yahoo's Hot Jobs is preventing my pages from showing up?

My new theory on all this, Yahoo bought the search
algorithm from Ink, but Ink never provided them the
instructions, or they are in Japanese. Whatever
the case, no one over there seems to have a clue.

That's what your competitions would want you to think while they reap the harvest. It is just not the case.
