UK sites dominate Yahoo.com listings

Hi,

I've just been checking our rankings for 'snipped' in the Yahoo.co.uk and Yahoo.com searches. Although we rank highly in the UK results it is apparent that we rank even higher in the Yahoo.com worldwide search....in fact UK sites dominate the Yahoo.com results......does anyone know why this is?

I've done some tests but can't find any apparent reasons for his.
