Has anyone else experienced this from slurp.
Requesting odd actual page names, and correct site pages but from peculiar directories.

Thanks

This is nothing new, but thankfully not a regular occurance.

After a quick check of my log files, I see this happened in late October, mid-December, late January, early February, mid-March... and now.

For a bit there, I thought I saw a semi-regular pattern of Slurp goofing up every 1.5 months, but I'm not sure if that theory holds much water.

What I did notice though, was that Slurp often asked for the same files. It took no work at all to find most of the original pages, which included porn, a religious cassette tape, a small town in Germany and someone's coat of arms.

At the end of the day, Slurp's abberant behaviour isn't anything to worry about, it's just a few 404's in your logs.

thanks Balam for the information.

My post was initially held pending .... probably because a similiar thread was started over at tracking and logging.
Probably where I should have posted mine.

However, appreciate your response to this one.
