I noticed that Overture listings are now being highlighted (or better identified as paid listings) by being displayed in a shaded box above the organic listings.

if you had said they have now taken over the serps i would have agreed with you. How would you feel right now as a sitematch customer?
some of the searches now throw up 4 yahoo links and 4 overture links before you even get to the "free" crawled serps.
