yahoo displays different mirrors in different countries?

Hello, I see complete different yahoo results in germany and in canada! I always use www.yahoo.com and I search the web for my main keyword! Is this normal?

I am seeing lots of variation between the [supposedly] global-setting searches on various Yahoos. I'm also seeing some drastic month-to-month variations, particularly in the UK.
I'm guessing that these shifts are symptoms of Yahoo's brand new index being distributed, and *slowly* integrated, into local operations.
