Google Adword Sites on Yahoo

Sites which redirect free Yahoo traffic to Google Pay Per Click

I noticed a site today which seemed to be set up as an informational site, in that they did not directly offer any products for sale, but did have pages with a minimum of descriptive content rehashed from other sites.

The interesting thing I noticed - is on the left hand side of this so called "informational" page - there was a column of Google Pay-Per-Click ads.

What *appears* to be happening - is this site is ranking in the Yahoo engine for free - taking that traffic - and redirecting it through Google Pay-Per-Click. Presumably for some type of profit.

I am wondering if anybody else has noticed sites like this in their industry areas.

And also - why Yahoo is allowing this? I would think with SiteMatch and Overture - Yahoo desires to be the leader in Pay-Per-Click. Yet they have listings that rank highly in their search results - that are only redirecting to Google - their arch-rival.....

Thoughts and ideas? Anyone?
