I have to confess that I am not a visitor to this forum too often since most of my traffic comes from the other SE, but it surprised me that a couple of keywords that have to do with my site's topic are directory type pages with excerpts from other sites, but are ranking better than my site.
It seems to me that the reason is because of <title> This page is about widgets </title>. It seems that this is just ripe for abuse.
