Yahoo is so Slow

Compared to Google, searches seemingly take forever

Is it just me, or does Yahoo take quite a bit longer to return search results in comparison to Google?

I was doing some searches on Yahoo to see how it compared to Google and what struck me as annoying was how long it took for the initial search to display as well as to jump to the next page of listings. Granted, Yahoo is fairly quick in comparion to other web things - but in comparison to Google - it is REAL slow in displaying results.

I posted on this pretty soon after the switch - response? - zero. However, I still find Y! to be far slower than G, particularly - as you say - when flipping from one SERP page to the next. I'm in Europe - you?

I seldom use Yahoo because it works like a beetle walks. I bet most people here in China prefer to use Google for one of its major advantages - speed.
