question to anyone out there. Is yahoo now pulling c-name sites out of there index. i have a main domain site in the yahoo index, as of the march 18th filter update, all my c-name sites disappeared, and they all are relavent with no spam and great content. as an added note, i had submitted to of my c-names through the site match program, and had great placement with sitematch then this filter still pulled my c-names. Does anyone see this happening to them, plzz let me know thanks..

I don't think there would be much rationale behind them to do that. I think many of the penalties themselves lack any rationale though.

you know when a rookie cop starts out on the job he see's everyone as innocent. Treats everyone the same till he know's one way or the other from actual evidence whether he is dealing with a criminal or not. That same cop 5 years later is tainted by the job. He see's everything froma different perspective, its likely if you have the wrong look and are in the wrong neighbourhood he will treat you like a gang member till he knows different. The big change is the way he looks at people and situations. He no longer sees the whole picture. Experience has taught him to zero in on a few pointers that are often consistent with you being the right guy or the wrong guy. It is has nothing to do with actual evidence, it is to do with your manner, the way you dress, the way you talk back, do you look nervous, are you sweating? My point is i believe what we are seeing is a shift from WHAT IS LOOKED AT to THE WAY IT IS LOOKED AT. A simplification would be that if it looks like spam it is spam, and the other end being if it doesnt look like spam it isnt spam. If you go down to a human review and not to a filter then this i think might be the key.

soapystar, i got what ur saying. one buddy seo of mine, said that maybe when i submitted to site match, that i submitted to many sites at once, cause yes, our sites do look similar to each other, but yes, we are a company that trys to make our sites resemble the company logo. by just glancing, it could potentially look like a duplicate site. but, when i did submit the sites to site match, they got index and recieved excellent positioning for bout 4 days, until mr. march18th came about, its funny too, cause in my positiontech account, exactly on that day, are clickthroughs dropped to 0 LOL, from like 30 to 40 clicks a day. i just think its to funny.
