Yahoo Customer Service Is A Joke

Avoid Yahoo Webhosting like the plague

I have also had great experiences with Yahoo & Lycos. Lycos does not give refunds but they will hold whatever money not used for you if you decide to come back! Come back - it was h*ll the first time, why would I want to come back?
As for Yahoo, I thought everything was going great until THEY made a mistake with my listing. I was completely paid up but they decided, for some reason to switch my account from a paid one to a free one. (isn't it comforting when tech support says "I've never seen anything like this") Now I cannot access my page at all & it looks like a disaster. When I call customer service (ha!) they tell me they don't know when it will be fixed - next week, next month, who knows? And according to them, there is no one else to talk to - they're it. (Although they were kind enough to say they "understand" my frustration)
These peple have so much money, they don't have to care about their customers. I am closing my account ASAP & going to see if my credit card company will chargeback this past months fee.
Does anyone know of a reputable, reliable web-hosting company? I've been burned twice with sign on fees, etc. I don't mind paying - I just would like to get what I paid for! If you have any suggestions as to who I could try for web hosting, please let me know!

I used twelve different hsoting companies over a one year period and finally decided to host my sites on my own server in my own facility. Haven't found a good one yet - at least one that remains good for the long term (longer than a couple of months).
