Right now the main Yahoo as has been mentioned in a number of good posts is returning results that are reminiscent of Google few years ago focusing heavier on on-page factures. Meta refreshes and doorway pages also do well.
All the Web is return results slightly different from the main Yahoo. Most of the meta refreshes and doorway pages are removed. My pages that are not already at the top of the serps are moving up one or two places. Anchor text seems to also play a larger role.
Position Tech seems to be returning the same results as All the Web at this time.
Yahoo Watch’s proxy search appears to show some interesting coding in the links that seems to suggest PFI placements. There are good discussions going on about this in other posts as well.
Using this search spamming and PFI appear to be acceptable. I viewed one result for one of the most competitive terms on the web and what appears to be a PFI placement does well with a meta refresh. This site disappears from All the Web results.
My guess is that All the Web results will soon be the new main Yahoo results. The results are much cleaner. Mind you this is only a guess.
What I would really like to know is if there is someone that is doing well in Google but not doing well in both Yahoo and All the Web. Also are other people see the same thing.
