WebmasterWorld --

I just got word back from one of my contacts who looked into why my 2,000+ page original content site was banned with an "editorial judgement" against us. The site is ranked VERY well at Google on over 160 unique keywords (and #1 on over three dozen), and we've been scrambling to find out why Yahoo didn't see our site as worthy of their index.

Apparently, according to our contacts, we have too many domains (I guess two is too many according to Yahoo) pointing to this content.

Additionally, we have "co-branded" domains that license the content to partners of ours. The host the domains on our servers, and this allows them to include our content on their servers with consistent graphic design and branding. All in all, there are about 15 domains that point to roughly the same content.

We are doing nothing to play the system, we are just providing a service to our channel partners, and whammo, all of a sudden we are being accused of spamming the search engines :(.

Is it possible to eliminate all the co-branded domains from Yahoo, but not the main site?
