Site rejection for Site Match

What is your experience so far?

- We submitted an URL in SiteMatch on 2004-03-10 and deposit $99

- 3 days after, i saw that the URL was "Rejected" in the Overture SiteMatch interface. No email notication.

- I used the Support form and asked the reason "why" and also what should i do to get my URL accepted. (And do i have to pay $50 every time i submit the info?)

4 days later, no one replied to my request so far. Nothing.

Am i alone?

I also submitted 3 pages of a site and they were rejected. No reason given. The site was very clean no reason it should have been declined.

I wrote to the tech support address and got a "canned" answer, saying that i agreed to the terms of service etc.

Not exactly "useful" information.

Guidelines should be more transparent, because you can end up submitting a URL multiple times before you finish by doing something they see as appropriate, this guesswork can be very costly.

I sent my comments to the 2nd email, hope i get more clarification.

Slightly OT, but the same theme:

I have a client site that was accepted for Overture Direct submit over a week ago. The listing for the home page URL shows active and was refreshed on 3/15. But, the site doesn’t show up in the first 220 Yahoo listings I checked for a key phrase on the page -- I assume it’s not in the search results at all.

There’s no clicks recorded, either.

I know that listing is not a guarantee of placement for any searches, and I am glad that the site was accepted. But, where does it show up?!
