I have a (technical?) problem when submitting my site for free to yaho

Request Timeout

When submitting my site (I'm going on trying to do this for 3 last days) I have the reply from yahoo server-side script:
"There was a problem with your submission:
The following resulted when trying to access your document:
Request Timeout
Common mistakes include:
Misspelling of the host or path
Improper URL syntax."
I tried to replace the URL with upper and lower case versions and www.example.com vs example.com, but the results were the same - negative!
I read at the [help.yahoo.com...] that the problem can be because of slow connection to the Internet. I asked my friend to submit my site - he has extremely fast cable connection - and he tried to do this 4 times, but
the results were the same. I have cleared the memory cache on my browser - and again the same result. I have looked at the logs files and see that yahoo server even did not try to HEAD (GET or POST) my site, i.e. the form submission failed at the yahoo server.
I tried to connect to their staff via [add.yahoo.com...] , but it looks as if it failed too: no ticket number or like that.
May the reason be that the server filter by country the enrolling or it think my domain is wrong because it has "-" sign in it - I once saw a site that did not accept sites which domains had "-" or "_" signs in it?

Have you logged into Yahoo with your email and password or just followed a link to the add url?

You need to register before you can add your site.

Just a thought.

PCInk, Yahoo didn't demand to log into from me at those cases. And no attempts to create a cooky into my browser there was done!

I tried the free submit a day or so after it was announced and it worked well but today it gives me a timeout error. They'll get it fixed eventually... ;)

Just tried it and it seemed to work. We will have someone look into the stability since people are having problems. It may be that some people are hitting the server too hard with bots for auto submission. Not a very good idea...
