What's the difference?

Seen these two crawling consistently two different type sites of mine:

1. widgets.com (portal like site plus articles, info)

2. store.widgets.com (semi dynamic, products and shopping catalogues)

Siders:
"Yahoo VerticalCrawler FormerWebCrawler" spiders site 1.
"YahooSeeker" spiders site 2.

Can anyone please make sense of it?

Thanks!

So does the former FAST spider not spider the subdomain that is visited by YahooSeeker then?

A darn good one too. Very fast and visits often. Tim, I noticed this one only visits sites we have listed in the Yahoo directory. Is that normal?

It's the opposite here, the site listed in the directory gets visits from Vertical Crawler, the subdomain with product pages gets crawled by YahooSeeker.

I would pay more attention to YahooSeeker for now. I would allow the former Fast crawler into your site but not read to much into its behaviour for now.

Tim, does spidering by YahooSeeker mean possible inclusion to Yahoo search database or it's 2 completely different databases?
Thanks.

Thanks, guys!
It's very sad, because my site is penalized by Yahoo!Search and was heavy spidered by YahooSeeker few days ago. I was hoping that this could help, but ...
