Dear all,
I sign up for yahoo's new service Merchant Solutions about half year ago, everything works fine except the search engine part, for those who have used this service, knows that yahoo give you 2 place, says if my domain is abc.com , all the store where you show your product is under "store.abc.com" , other page like home page , you can put it on www.abc.com .
I always use www.abc.com to submit whenever is needed, and on www.abc.com , I have all the text links to each of the product page under store.abc.com/****.html . the problem is ALL search engine only index www.abc.com/* , it won't crawl further to store.abc.com/* .

I am going to spend 299 to register on yahoo directory, but don't know which one is the right Url to submit, I want the entire site to be visited under store.abc.com , should I submit store.abc.com , or www.abc.com and it will automaticly jump to store and continue craw entire site?

thank you for the help .

Phil

We are a Y store owner and we submitted the original URL with Yahoo... then everyone else picked us up under domain.com...

Our suggestion is to submit under yourdomain.com - no one who is going to see the yahoo URL will give your store any credibility with that extension.

tks.

YES - submit abc.com

NO - 700 products are not too much... each product has it's own page anyway and eventually the SE's will find every one of them

Hi Arctrust
Sorry again,
on the reply you wrote "abc.com" , currently,
www.abc.com = abc.com
store.abc.com -> to yahoo store.
does that mean if I submit "abc.com" , then "store.abc.com" , " www.abc.com" will be all includes under abc.com? if this is true , that's what I need, I need everything under one roof. because no metter how I do in the www.abc.com, adding links, sit maps, etc, no search engine want to jump from www to store.abc.com . ............

thank you for the answer,

Yes....

Submit abc.com

If the search engine wants the www. then add that...

Some search engines want http:// in fron of everything - if that is what they want then go ahead and submit [abc.com...]

But never submit store.abc.com because it is useless..

I know that when you view your url it says store, but everything should be submitted without the STORE extension.

You will be indexed just fine doing this.

The reason you dont want STORE in there id because if you look at big websites like FORD, General Motors.... they doont have any extensions.... Just Ford.com or GM.com

People who will see STORE will not trust the website to buy because it looks small.

Good luck!
