Is Yahoo updating anyones sites?

The Slurp spiders my site every day, but updated pages don't show.

I changed some pages about a month ago and while Slurp has visited that page every day since the change, the serps title, description, cache, etc still show the old page. Also, the results I watch have not changed at all in the last month.

Is anyone seeing any movement in the serps and is anyone seeing changes to their pages being picked up and displayed by Yahoo?

PFI pages yes, other pages no. One looming question is how often Y will update the free SERP's. Some posts and comments from Y have implied that they'll do it frequently, others have implied every month or so.

Tim from Y has said that lots of changes are in the works. So, what we're seeing now may not be like what we'll see soon.

Well I guess they can't do it too frequently because then no one would PFI.

Just wanted to make sure everyone was in the same boat as me...

Type webmasterworld into Yahoo and the result for this site has very recent content on it. I wonder is Brett paying for that or does Yahoo give him a favor for letting them on here.

for me, yahoo hasn't updated anything since it dropped google, even though its spider visits everyday.

Yahoo has spidered over 6k pages on my site, and I am still showing the same as before they did that. No noticeable changes.

They waited until today. It looks like we have a dance to look for again. Oh goodie.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact this is a quality site?

No updates for my sites.
I also reported a bug on Feb. 18 that hasn't been fixed yet --
Part of the url: prod_id=1234 is replaced with %E2%88%8F_id=1234
lots of broken links from yahoo to my sites.

An annoying update on my end. Several of the redirects I had changed and that had been successfully pointing to new pages for the past month have now reverted to the urls they had 1 month ago. I hope this isn't what I'm stuck with for the next month.

And phooey on Yahoo being so "new and different" from Inktomi. These wacked results are matched on MSN.

And I guess no one else complaining of this has quality sites... I don't buy it.

I buy it over:

anyone notice that yahoo and msn are now showing different results. msn is not really picking up much from yahoo any more, thus concluding that maybe they're testing their own beta search.

I've had a page finally updated, after 3 changes and the version from April, 2003 still showing up until recently. It's a pretty poorly linked_to site, so it wasn't surprising. And I've seen some pages updated that had changes made in January. Not paid pages. Results look pretty fresh and complete to me, I'm happy with the search.

I paid sitematch to update my site they did not do it for like 6 business days. When they did I got updated the same time all the people that did not pay. What am I paying for. Today my description is back to an old one. Yahoo has rolled back. I new they would just take my money and do the same thing they were already doing. Yahoo needs to get on top of things. They have really screwed up.

I got different results every time I open a new browser window.
It seems like I am hitting different servers.

I do a inurl=whatever to see what yahoo has listed from my site and see 47, 1200 and 1800 at different times.

Today I saw an update to my new site just launched 3 weeks ago. Free crawl. Indexed about 1000 pages (only 1% but its a start)

Odd thing is, This happened the SAME day as Google indexed a slightly higher number of pages (1200 pages) Verry odd indeed.

One more thing, the bulk of these new Yahoo Indexed pages are missing the title and description. Only the filename is listed. Anyone else seeing this?

If you do a search on yahoo and replace the search.yahoo.com with 216.109.117.135 you will get yahoo with Google results. If you put 216.109.117.125 there you get canada and it seems to have the recent results that were there yesterday.

Good find on the Canada yahoo.

The real question is what does this mean?
