I have asked this question several times in the middle of other threads. Unfortunately, I got no response.
Do I need to resubmit sites to free inclusion Yahoo! if they are already ranking well?

Have you checked that your site exists in the new Yahoo index? just put your www.mysite.com in the search box and see if it returns your index page at the top of the results and see if it also has the more results from this site attached. If you can't find it that way than if it were myself I would submit.

I have yet to understand why one needs to submit them at all. Never submitted a page to a search engine in my life, except of course the paid stuff like PFI. If Slurp does the thorough job Y says they want to do, then there should be no need, unless perhaps one has pages that for some reason are very poorly linked, or are otherwise difficult to find or crawl.

Site is already listed and ranking. Safe to say I don't need to.

Why would you resubmit if the site is already indexed and ranking?
I think the submission and site match programs are for spidering and inclusion, not ranking.
