Are we going to see an entire new database with the new Yahoo! PFI?

If we are ranking well in the current Yahoo/INK, do we need to resubmit?

I have clean, spam free sites that are penalized, I think b/c of too many hyphens. Total of 5 hyphens in the URL. Any chance these sites going to be let back in?

5 hyphens on the Domain? I'm just curious. I think they plan on doing something with appealing banned and penalized sites.

I still see many free inclusion and PFI sites with 5 and more hyphens. My sites are squeaky clean. I was told by Position Tech the hyphens were the reason for being dropped.

Where did you hear about appeals?

Url's that you paid for during one of the prior contracts (Altavista, Ink, Alltheweb) will remain in the index until your year ends. Then your site will be dropped and added to the "free crawl" list.

If you resubmit your site they will review it and possibly lift the penalty (if your site is clean).
