Lost in the rankings, or not?

Why such different results between .com/.co.uk

Ok, first of all lets take a search term 'Blue Widgets' (only being used for example purposes).

A - If I use Yahoo.com - 1 set of results
B - If I use Yahoo.co.uk (select All web) - Different results
C - If I use Yahoo.co.uk (select UK only) - Yet different results.

I run a .CO.UK website, A - gives me good results, Re B and C, the same page that ranks very high on A is no-where to be found.

Is this a transitional period moving to Inktomi?.

Any other suggestions.
Thanks

Waiting for the same heads up here too, .com results are fantastic top 5! but .co.uk are still INK and get little or no positioning.. when oh when if ever are the results going to migrate..
