I am considering paying for inktomi sumbission. None out of our 12 domains is sohwing in the new Yahoo searches, however they are listed in Google.

Does submission of the root pages guarantee that the sites will be indexed by slurp? What I am afraid of that is that index.html from each domain will be in the index however individual pages on the domain not. In other words once you pay for top page submission does it guarantee that the lower level pages will be indexed and be showing up in yahoo search results?

Paying for your index page guarantees that it will be included, but it should have no positive or negetive effect on the other pages of your site.

Skim through the subjects in the Paid Inclusion forum. There are numerous posts that make the phrase "guaranteed inclusion" a questionable term.

I'm not saying yay or nay, because my experience was initially bad and turned to good. But you'd best read the potential pitfalls before you subscribe.

Also, submitting your index does not mean your other pages will be indexed, in fact the opposite (unless you manage to get into their free crawl, which seems to be an unlikely occurance once you've entered the PFI program).

Great - no use for me then at all...That's what I've suspected

You might take a look at the Trusted Feed program if you want to submit many pages and pay per click instead of per page.
