Does anyone have statistics on what are the new market shares of the search engines in total results? Since Yahoo! dropped Google, things are bound to change.

BEFORE (Estimates)
Google 40%
Yahoo 25% (provided by Google)
AOL 15% (provided by Google)
MSN 15%
Others 5% (Altavista/AlltheWeb, AskJeeves/Teoma, etc)

AFTER
Google 40%
Yahoo 25% (Inktomi)
AOL 15% (provided by Google)
MSN 15% (provided by Inktomi)
Others 5%

These are just guesses, but I was wondering if anyone had any hard data? Thanks.

Hi,

I think this is the link you need to read. It has only part of your answer, but an important part.

Looks to me like, based on those articles, his estimates are pretty much dead on.
