War in Iraq and rumors of cloned babies topped news searches, while American Idol and Survivor continued to outlast their reality TV competition. The year also saw its share of scandals, with Rush Limbaugh, Michael Jackson, Kobe Bryant, and Paris Hilton in the spotlight

I would say Yahoo is very media oriented. Eminem, Britney, Christina, 50 cent - Singers.

Paris Hilton - Her hit video ;) And you know that video just came out so that is top keyword right now for them.

Harry Potter - Kids

Kazza - Music, Media, Files

I don't search yahoo anymore really. But I'm sure if I want results on these topics I will find information and such.

And they even have a nice graph of when people started searching for Paris Hilton. Her show isn't any good so we know its not the premier of the show that brought up the hits ;)
