I thought I read somewhere that Yahoo! was switching its results to Inktomi in January.
Anyone heard this or have a source on it? I can't remember where, or if, I saw it!

In the past few days I have noticed Inktomi results showing and replacing Google at times. I have also noticed a third set of results that looks like a cross reference from Inktomi, Altavista, and the Yahoo Directory. By cross reference I mean that your page must be listed in any 2 of the 3 to be in the main Yahoo results. Alltheweb may be part of this as well, but it looks more like Altavista to me. Yahoo may be trying to utilize different algos in order to produce the most relevent results. Can anyone else confirm this observation?
