UK site doesn't appear in Search UK

UK search vs All the Web search

Hi.

I am based in the UK, as is my ISP, and my domain name is .com (ie not co.uk)

When I do a GoogleUK search with appropriate search string I get better results with search pages from the UK, than with search all the web. As one would expect.

With Yahoo I now get excellent results from search all the web, BUT very poor results from search UK pages.

Can someone help me understand why this is, and what I can do to get the same Yahoo (all the web) results, when i search Yahoo (UK only)?

AFAIK, on UK only searches, unlike G, Y! filters by domain only.

Looks like you may be right. All domains returned in search results are .uk

Bit poor isn't it!
