Internet portal giant Yahoo! today gave one of its strongest indications yet that it will soon end its reliance on web search technology provider Google.
I still cant believe that they are gonna us inktomi results, they just dont deliver the quality for Yahoo. What about Alltheweb or wisenut they deliver better results for sure if it has to be something els then Google.

At SES theJeff Weiner, the SVP of Search & MarketPlace at Yahoo, announced that they WILL switch to using Ink results. He said they have a timeline that they are following. He didn't say WHEN the change would take place, but just that it would. I don't think it'll be long before it happens.
I'm revving up my PositionTech accounts and heading over to learn more about Ink. I'm going to be there when the switch occurs :)

Agreed. Yahoo used to use Ink results a while back, and they dropped them for Google. I don't think Ink has changed much since then, except for including a few dynamic pages now...
