Is Yahoo going to remain unfriendly to NTL users in the UK?

Hi, I'm totaly new here and may be posting in totaly the wrong place, if so
please let me know.

For the last week or so the address book and calender connected to Yahoo mail have been unavailable to NTL users, there are many of us in the UK. Any idea
how we could get them back would be most
welcome. We are unable to download Netscape or Explorer.

Have you spoken to NTL? I've been getting the same thing and NTL have admitted to me that the problem is an issue on their side, apparently an issue with their proxy servers and is only affecting people in the Cambridgeshire area. NTL's engineers are on the case...

If you need to get in to your calendar, mail or address book use a pay as you go ISP until NTL fix the problem.

I'm seeing the same problems in Scotland with reguards to various yahoo offerings when using an NTL broadband account. Mail for example unavailable.

Hi I am an ntl customer in Northern Ireland and not only is YAHOO unfriendly, but so are tripod, lycos and ntl. NTL is so unfriendly that it won't even tell me that it is their problem. In fact if it wasn't for the bill which turns up every month I wouldn't even know that I had any dealings with them at all. There is a twist to the yahoo story in this house, two of us can access our accounts and two can't. Top that!
I did manage to get yahoo to send the contents of my inbox to ntl address.

Just a tip with NTL's proxy servers, you can go through any of them if your local one is having problems.
