I was trying to submit my website to Yahoo!. It directs me to a page stating that there will be a $299 annual fee.

Do they always charge money for site submission?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Raymond,

Think very hard before submitting to yahoo dir. Is it really worth it? Now yahoo shows exactly result of google, ans it's gonna change to Inktomi soon. I did not submit my site, I dont think any sense in paying 300$ for link from yahoo.

Unless Yahoo reverts back to using directory listings as their primary results, forget about spending $300. It is not worth it at all.
