I suppose that answers that doesn't it! Need to be in Yahoo.co.uk aswell........
Attempted to submit to Yahoo.co.uk but is refuses "already listed". Can you not have a listing in yahoo.com and Yahoo.co.uk?
If .co.uk is important to you then you may be better firing the question at Yahoo! and explaining the problem.
If you're paying the $299 for inclusion, then I owuld expect that to cover your correct Geography at least.
If it's a free inclusion then consider .com a bonus and pay for .co.uk.
I don't think you'd get the same response if you're offering to pay them money!

A listing in Yahoo.com should get you listed in all the Yahoo's.
When you go to uk.yahoo.com, and search for a site, you see almost the same results as Yahoo.com If you hit the radio button, UK only, then it depends on the TLD.
I'm not sure about this, I have no experience with the other Yahoo's, but my understanding was that 1 listing got you into all of them.
So, is it true to say don't bother registering with yahoo.co.uk, just go for .com and get in the lot as it is the same price?
Or do they have restrictions on .co.uk domains going into .com? In which case the .co.uk is once again devalued....

when you submit to a regional category, your site will automatically appear in the main directory as well.
We have found with our clients they only need to submit to yahoo.co.uk.
Also it doesn't matter if your site is a .com or .co.uk as long as it states this on the website by the business address normally.
This in our opinion works out cheaper and unlike the main yahoo directory is only a one off price of £199 and not payable anually which in my opinion is a complete waste of money.
If you are serious about your business a yahoo listing can bring in a fair amount of traffic, but the secret is to find a category with few listings or a position near to the top.
Just to clarify: that may be the case for the english speaking Yahoo's, not sure about that point.
With all other Yahoo's this is definitely not the case.
You have to submit to each local Yahoo seperately.
Example: Submitting a site to Yahoo France does not get you into Yahoo.com, Yahoo.co.uk, Yahoo.de, Yahoo.dk etc etc.
I don't agree!
Search for the key word: flower delivery
in yahoo.com and uk.yahoo.com and then search
in the directory and you will find my flower site
is #1 in com and #2 in co.uk!
I have only submitted once to co.uk and not to .com
but we are in both directories.
How would you explain the dual listing?

As heini suggested you are probably listed in all or most of the English Yahoo directories:
Yahoo
Yahoo Australia
Yahoo Asia
Yahoo Canada
Yahoo India
Yahoo UK
Yahoo Hong Kong
There are some English Yahoo directories that have a different structure and I've noticed listings don't seem to migrate to those.

Did you check the directory to see if you are listed?
