Yahoo Search Now Showing the Cache from a Yahoo IP

Yahoo has been showing the Google cache, well, the cache feature in their SERP's from a Google IP previously. When I checked a few minutes ago, it was a Yahoo assigned IP address.

Is this new, or did I miss something? A quick search of the last few weeks didn't pick this up...

Seems that the integration of a more 'googlish' Yahoo search is happening one step at a time...

the Yahoo branding cache, as well, is a bit more 'obnoxious' than the Google one, since it has a graphical logo instead of the colored text in the Google one.

I wonder how far they will take the modification of copyrighted material over time...seems that the graphical logo is a bit more of a stretch than the simple text logo that Google has been using.

What I was curious about was mainly the IP of the Yahoo cache...anyone? Remember if it started as a Google IP or if it was a Yahoo allocated IP from the start?

Hi jeremy, I think someone mentioned that it was Yahoo's some time ago? Not sure though.
