Yahoo is using Google results for "blue widgets" and different results for "widgets" (possibly ink). This is so depressing since I get loads of traffic in searches for "widgets" since I am still #4 in Google but now non-existent in Yahoo. Anyone else notice this?

I noticed this today too. Here's a general example: search on a car make and model name. Some results are very different, some are close. Some of the Yahoo listings for very popular terms include non-english results with garbagey summaries.

Haven't had a chance to compare with Inktomi results.

I also disappered from Yahoo after being removed from their directory a few days ago. I was on the first page and now even googles results don't show my site. There is something afoot with Yahoo's results this past week.

yeah, I have have seen some different serps.... for one site in G, I am sitting in 11 or 12... in Y!, same site is sitting #1.... now the difference between a rank of 8 and 5 is one thing but when a site goes to number 1, I like to think it is for a reason.
