Yahoo Results!

Showing results from Google, but Title, Description from Yahoo Directory...

While searching in Yahoo, I have found that though Yahoo is taking results from Google, if the resultant links are also listed in Yahoo Directory, the Title & Description are shown from the Directory and not same as Google results.

Has Yahoo changed its strategy once again? Any Opinions?

this has been going for a number of months for sites in Yahoo directory.

although every once in a while it will show Google snippet though, depending on keyword searched and also whthere the result returned is the Index page or deep urls

But I have found it same for home page and inner links also.
It might depend on the directory listing, i suppose..
