Will Yahoo accept a good site, informative, etc.. but is a doorway to some content which resides on another server's domain? So basically its like a doorway?
I mean you may have your own "personal" reasons for wanting a different domain in Yahoo - optimization, a new "look and feel", repackaging the site for better positioning, etc..
Is it worth the payment risk?

Nope, won't take it unless it is the hompage of the main domain.
